Online status indicators
Please note, that it may take up to 30 minutes to update your status shown on the website after you make the changes listed here.
Windows Live Messenger
To show your MSN online status, click Tools -> Options, select Privacy and make sure that the checkbox "Only people on my Allow List can see my status and send me messages" is NOT checked.
Skype
To show your Skype online status, click Tools -> Options, select Privacy and make sure that the checkbox "Allow my status to be shown on the web" is checked.
Yahoo! messenger
Log on to the Yahoo website and go to profile settings. Make sure that the "Check the box to hide my online status from other users" is not checked.
ICQ
To show your ICQ online status, you have to activate the Web Awareness feature. In the ICQ messenger click Main -> Security & Privacy Permissions under General Settings -> General. In the Web Aware window, check the "Allow others to view my online/offline status..." box and click Apply to save changes. Note: if you set "Invisible" as your status, your status will be displayed as "offline".
AOL Instant Messenger (AIM)
Set your privacy setting for AIM to "Allow all users to contact me".
