Google held a Press Conference this week to announce the official launch of the highly anticipated Nexus One. As rumored, HTC are going to manufacture the model which will include 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 480x800 pixels.
The phone can be bought immediately with or without contract on T-Mobile USA and other networks including Verizon and Vodafone look set to secure contracts in the Spring. Google will exclusively distribute the Nexus from its online store and an unlocked GSM version of the phone that will work in most countries is $529.
Google will only ship the new Nexus to USA, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore, although a further expansion in distribution is expected shortly
It appears that buying in bulk will not be an option to start but we will keep you posted on future developments relating to distribution as it happens.
