Phone model updates
Samsung expanding their DuoS range
It seems like Samsung are willing to repeat the success of their D880 slider with a new SGH-D780 candybar.
The new phone has somewhat lower specs than the original - which means it's price should as well be significantly lower (estimated by 20-30 percent), making it a perfect entry-level dual-sim candidate and providing some real competition to the Chinese makes.
The handset is expected to appear on the market in Russia within next month, from where it will make it's way into Europe and other parts of the world.
As a good news, one the Korean manufacturer has also mentioned in an interview, that there will be more of DuoS range handsets coming out, one of which will be a real, Windows Mobile based, smartphone!

Anonymous @ 06:33 GMT, Apr 09It's high time that other phone maufacturers consider launching dual sim phones. Chinese phones have cornered a decent share of the market with their lower priced (and significantly lower quality) dual-sim phones.
