The agreement between gsmExchange and CeBIT will see the tradeZone occupy over 4000m2 in the heart of planet reseller and replaces some of the smaller pavilions that had been located in close proximity to the tradeZone in previous years.
CeBIT recognised the importance of the tradeZone to the overall success of Planet Reseller and was in a position to give gsmExchange the entire area traditionally associated with Mobile Phone and Accessories Distribution. The move will see the gsmExchange tradeZone become the exclusive area for Mobile Phone and Accessories Distribution and we look forward to consolidating the entire Mobile Phone and Accessories Distribution area under one brand - gsmExchange tradeZone.
Exhibitors who participated in that area last year and have found themselves displaced due to the expansion of tradeZone are welcome to consider space available in a similar or better location within the tradeZone and should speak to an Account Manager on +353 1 255 8555.
The future plans for the tradeZone is to continue our expansion and introduce a new level of diversity to the exhibitors and visitors who attend the event. Our team is already focusing on the manufacturing sector and has established links with 300+ devices and accessories manufacturers who are considering options available to them.
We are also focusing on expanding the amount of visitors attending the event - In 2015, 3650 visitors who attended CeBIT claimed passes from gsmExchange, only Microsoft managed to attract more visitors to CeBIT in that year. Our efforts have been recognised by CeBIT and this was also a deciding factor in nominating gsmExchange to manage the entire Mobile Phone and Accessories Distribution Pavilion.
The tradeZone has been taking bookings since March 2015 and we are proud to report that nearly 40% of all booths have been booked with 43 companies already making the commitment to exhibit in this area.
